Covenant home health is a licensed home care services Agency and is approved by the New York State Department of Health. We are located in Queens NY and served all 5 boroughs and Nassau county. 

Covenant Home Health Care Services is a women-owned business. The Owner/Administrator is a retired Pediatrician who practiced general pediatrics for more than 20 years and worked as a civil servant for the last 10 years until retirement in 2017. Together with her daughter who has earned a masters degree in Business Marketing from St John's University in Queens NY, they have been managing the business since June 2018. We provide community services to the Disabled, the Elderly, to People with illness or injury who need care at home. We also provide care at home to people who are dealing with long standing chronic conditions. 

 Our Mission...is to provide a model of excellence in health care for our clients in a dignified manner with professionalism, respect, courtesy, and compassion for all. 

What is Home Health Care?

Home health care is a wide range of health care services that can be given in your home for an illness or injury. Home health care is a continuation of care at home to help you recover completely or as much as possible depending on your medical conditions. The goal is to help you get better, regain your independence, and become as self-sufficient as possible. Instead of being cared for in the hospital away from your family, the care will be provided to you in your own home with the participation of your doctor, your family and you, and in your community. In case of long term care that necessitates nursing home, home health care will keep you out of nursing home by providing the care to you in the comfort of your home. If your elderly parent or loved one requires assistance with everyday task, but still wishes to live at home , home health care will help with that too as well as providing light housekeeping.

What should I expect from my home health care?

Doctor's orders are needed to start care. Once your doctor refers you for home health services, the home health agency will schedule an appointment and come to your home to talk to you about your needs and ask you some questions about your health. Due to the COVID 19, this process can be done now by phone or virtually (Telehealth).

The home health agency staff will also talk to your doctor about your care and keep your doctor updated about your progress...Meeting family health care needs can be compared to fitting pieces of a puzzle together.
